For those of you who are not aware, our good friend, Harold Lee, has been recently diagnosed with stage IV metastatic colorectal cancer. The biopsy confirmed that a tumor in his large intestine has metastasized to his liver. While this news is potentially devastating, Harold has made it clear that he's in for the fight!

As you can imagine, this condition will not only take a physical toll on him, but it will also bear an enormous financial burden. Prolonged stays at St. Mary's hospital, tests, potential surgeries, chemo treatment, prescriptions, etc., the bills are expected to pile up very quickly. I'm betting that a huge majority of the people reading this have been touched by Harold's generosity in the past - whether it was free tickets to a sporting event, drinks on his tab, a sandwich from St. James, or a ride home after a night of fun. Please remember these times and consider helping out a friend that you truly know would do the same for you.

On Monday, 9/16, Harold began his first of 6 chemo treatments at St. Mary's, which will occur biweekly for the next 2 months. The treatment is designed to shrink the tumor in the liver. After that, he will meet with his oncologist to discuss future treatments / options.

All things considered, Harold seems to be in good spirits. If you reach out to him, there's a good chance you'll get a witty or sarcastic comment in return. Or a high five.

All donations will go directly into Harold's account so he will be able to combat costs and focus on the most important thing - getting healthy. For those local who are looking to make donations beyond this platform, (GoFundMe takes 2.9% + $.30 per donation) please send me a text at [phone redacted] and I'll work with you on getting it to him directly. Please keep him in your prayers, along with his close friends and family.

More updates to come as they are known........
