We are trying to help raise money to support our fabulous friends, Harold Woodley and Erin Hahn. These two are incredible humans, friends and dog parents. We have known them for over 30 years and on January 8th, they lost their home and everything in it in the Eaton Canyon Fire. It's just devastating. They are the most generous, loving friends a person could ask for. They are the first to lend a hand, drop off a meal or offer a kind word.

Harold and Erin bought their home in Altadena with money they saved painstakingly over many years. Over the next decade, with similar care and dedication, they transformed a stucco box into a beautiful, welcoming home.

Harold built the hardscape in the yard himself, and he and Erin did all the landscaping together. They chose native, drought-resistant plants that created a safe haven for butterflies and birds. Erin used her considerable creative talents to make the interior her own. She's the kind of person who paints her own kitchen and puts up her own wallpaper. So much love and hard work went into this house that they made a home, and then suddenly, it's gone.

The other thing to know about these two is that they are passionate dog lovers! Over the years, Harold and Erin have taken in and raised multiple rescue dogs. They take animal welfare seriously and spend hours on training and enrichment for their lucky dog babies. This all happened in their home.

We hope that the amazing generosity they have put out to the world over many years comes back to them at this difficult time. Let's show them they are not alone.
