Hello friends, Two days before my husband Michael and I  left for California for a vacation which was supposed to be all about fun and a chance to get away, we got terrible medical news. 

Much to our shock and great sadness we learned that I, Harmoni, must undergo a full hysterectomy.

In an instant, our last hopes and dreams for biological children were ended.  We are heartbroken. 

We're in the process of figuring out how to mourn this loss and deal with the fact that we have to PAY to have it done.  Plus the amount of income I will lose in order to take off time to  heal.

This is a difficult time for both of us as we adjust to new ideas about our future and what it means.

We are fortunate that the hysterectomy can wait until May as to not disrupt the school year as I am a teacher.

We're looking at needing about $10,000 to cover the medical expenses and lose of income over the 6-8 weeks needed to recover to the point I could work long hours again.

Also we were hit but a tornado and the repairs to the car are substantial so we added that to our goal.

Thank you all for your love and support. This is so hard but I truly believe in the goodness of those around us. 

Michael and I can face anything together. We are just humbly asking for help to do so.
