Hi everyone,

unfortunately, my dear puppy dog, Harley, had her ear partially bitten off by another dog and has to receive surgery. My mom and I had to take her to the urgent veterinary, and it looks like it will cost around $1,200 at least to give her the care she needs.

My mom is a single mother who works incredibly hard to provide for our family and I am a full-time college student who commutes an hour to Seattle and back three days a week and I have quite a few of my own expenses monthly. I only work part-time, so it may be difficult to cover the cost of Harley's surgery on our own. She also has severe environmental allergies, and this allergy season has been worse than ever for her, so getting her that care has also cost us quite a bit during the holiday season.

Harley is the most loving dog I have ever met and would never and has never hurt a soul, whether that be another animal or a human. She has helped me through a plethora of rough patches since I was a teenager and I am absolutely devastated that she was injured today to the point of needing surgery. This event was pretty traumatic for my family and I assume Harley as well.
