Meet Harley- the happiest three legged girl kitty in the land! It was a long two weeks but she healed up and was given all the antibiotics and painkillers around the clock and came out shiny ✨ and new. Harley is FAST and thriving and seems like she’s found her new home with us. Sighhh lol. Thank you everyone who helped us save her. We will never forget that you did this for her!!!
Update 11/14/23 @ 12:43pm
We got her at home! Harley did amazing at the hospital and now it’s time for her to learn how to walk again and just heal up. She looks like a lil sausage lol but she is now purring every time we hold her. Safe to say she’s not acting feral anymore thank you so much for the continued support and I’ll keep giving updates!

Update: I left Harley at VEG in San Ramon and they are doing everything for $3000. I will pick her up tomorrow 11/13.
I have also applied for a grant for help. I appreciate all the help given. It will go to the cost of the surgery.
I changed the donation to $2000. Whether or not I get donations, I still am covering $1000 with my own money.
_____________
Hi, my name is Sabrina and I feed a colony of ferals.
This little girl was hit by a car [tonight 11/11/23] we think maybe just the front right leg was run over. Harley (we named her tonight) made her way back to my porch and I found her seemingly lifeless so I knew something was wrong.
we took her to the emergency vet in Dublin, ca and they said she needs amputation. It was possibly around $8000 or more. I told them I couldn’t afford it so I paid for pain meds and brought her home. I only have enough for about 30 days.
I am asking for any donations that anyone is willing to give. Tomorrow morning I will go to another vet and see what they can do for her at a lower cost. I want to help her.
Harley can still live a fulfilling life with 3 legs…after I get her better, I will be looking for a permanent home for her.
Anything you can help with would be so appreciated and Harley will be forever thankful! Please consider donating. Please share this with people you know.
