Help Harley to get a much needed new wheelchair.

Hello, this is a fundraiser for Harley. Harley is a wonderfully polite 18-year-old young man who unfortunately is dealing with cerebral palsy and often has spasms which are intense and out of his control. Harley has been in a wheelchair for a very long time and has outgrown the usefulness of his current wheelchair, which was donated 3 years ago. As you can see by photographs included this wheelchair no longer fits his frame, and it was not designed to handle the spasms which Harley endures. The foot rests are too small, his headrest is no longer shaped for his head, it's missing the anti-tilt wheels (a key safety feature) and the push handles are held on by wire. Harley needs a new wheelchair and that is the goal of this fundraiser. Due to the nature of his affliction, he needs a wheelchair custom fit to him, and as you can imagine, this is not cheap. The initial cost of the custom wheelchair designed to fit Harley is $23,216.07. The company providing the wheelchair, NU MOTION, is willing to provide a new wheelchair and has generously agreed to provide components at cost and is donating others, and they have agreed to deliver the wheelchair at no additional cost bringing the total cost down to 9,059.92, which is tremendously kind. This is the amount we are working to raise for Harley, as he comes from a loving, yet economically challenged family.
