Harley’s story began about 15 years ago, when we believe he was abandoned by his previous owner and bravely found his way to our Magnolia block. Alone but resilient, Harley quickly captured the hearts of a few families who welcomed him with open arms. Over the years, he’s become a cherished part of our community, receiving food, shelter, and endless affection from his devoted caretakers. When he’s not indoors, Harley loves exploring outdoors, greeting friends old and new. His adventurous spirit and gentle nature have made him a neighborhood favorite—he’s even gained over 800 followers on Instagram, showing just how many hearts he’s touched.

Recently, Harley was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which has caused him to lose significant weight and become constantly thirsty, hungry, and restless. Even though his caretakers feed him daily, his condition makes him seem as if he’s always searching for food. Without treatment, Harley would likely have only months to live, but with urgent medication and a specialized radiotherapy (I-131) treatment at a veterinary clinic, he has a real chance at recovery. This treatment is highly effective but comes with a considerable cost. Harley also needs dental care to address age-related health issues and ensure his comfort.

Our greatest wish is to give Harley the best possible care so he can continue enjoying his golden years in the neighborhood he loves.
