Help Harley Quinn Walk Again: TPLO Surgery Fund
Donation protected
This is our fur baby, our land seal, our kiddo, our Harley Quinn. She is in desperate need of TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery following an accident at a dog park. The day went from being the best day ever — having “zoomies” for miles, to tragedy the following morning, when she wasn’t able to move off the couch.
Upon an emergency vet visit, we were informed her cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) was ruptured, as well as a torn meniscus and patellar ligament. We need all the love and support we can get to help our Miss Quinn get back to the life she deserves I want to share a brief glimpse of our kiddo's story and the joy she brings to our lives.
Harley spent the first year of her life abused, neglected, and fearful (see the “Mohawk” on top of her head). Her home was one of hatefulness, lacking in the love our kiddo deserved. The day we rescued her was such a highlight in our lives, making the real question — who rescued who? Our family was struggling in more ways than one, and Harley was our hero. She supported Mom through her breast cancer diagnosis and was arguably her biggest cheerleader and support through the grueling process. She always visits Dad in the recliner during movie night, hoping to get a late-night treat of some peanut butter sandwiches and milk (he always caves). Kiddo always greets me with a “whole butt wag” when I visit from college.
She truly is the best dog; her personality is such a light, and she loves us fiercely. We are heartbroken by this injury and even more heartbroken at the thought of not being able to give our sweet girl the help she needs. Any donation is so greatly appreciated, but nonetheless, please continue to pray for Harley Quinn and for a peaceful recovery.
