Harley Quinn has been my loyal companion since 2018, when I adopted her from the ASPCA as a six-month-old puppy. She’s been by my side through every major event in my life, offering comfort, love, and unwavering support. She’s not just a pet—she’s family, and her presence has meant the world to me through both good times and hard ones.

Recently, Harley Quinn was diagnosed with an aggressive melanoma after a biopsy on two lumps—one in her right front armpit and one inside her mouth. The diagnosis came about two weeks after the biopsy, and it was devastating news. Now, she needs a chest x-ray and lower abdominal ultrasound before surgery, as well as a head CT scan on the day of her operation. After surgery, she’ll require chemo injections in the weeks and months that follow. The treatments and surgery are urgent because the cancer was caught relatively early, and acting now gives Harley Quinn the best chance at recovery.

She means everything to me, and I could never afford these treatments or medications on my own, especially given my own health challenges.
