When a father and son share a bond built on faith, hard work, and love, saying goodbye is never easy.
Steve Huddleston was more than a cowboy—he was a man of deep faith, honor, and love for his family. For a year and a half, Steve fought cancer with the grit and spirit of a true cowboy, never losing his trust in God or his pride in his son, Harley.
When Steve's health declined, Harley made the difficult decision to leave his job and home in New Hampshire to be by his father's side in Tennessee. For months, Harley put his own life on hold, caring for Steve through every challenge, and holding his hand through his final moments. In those final moments, Harley saw his dad through with strength and love, and has remained a strong, resilient character since. Now, as he faces the reality of funeral expenses and mounting bills, it’s hard to imagine carrying this burden alone—especially after giving so much of himself to care for his father. No one should have to choose between honoring a loved one and worrying about how to make ends meet.
I'm reaching out for help so Harley can lay his father to rest with the dignity, faith, and love that defined Steve's life. Steve was always there for others, and now, in this moment of need, we hope the community can come together for him. Your support will help Harley give his father the farewell he deserves, without the weight of financial worry. Any help is deeply appreciated.
