Help Harley Heal: Support for Evelyn and Ms. Harley

Hi, my name is Tesha.

I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your support for someone incredibly special to me—my dear friend Evelyn—and her cherished dog, Harley (lovingly known as my furniece).

On May 28th, Harley suffered a traumatic and unexpected attack by a wild animal, leaving her with serious injuries to her mouth and jaw. So far, we have confirmed a fractured jaw, multiple laceration and puncture wounds. She’s currently receiving urgent veterinary care, but her road to recovery will be long, painful, and expensive.

Harley has been a part of our family for nearly 10 years. She is the sweetest, most loving little dog—full of personality, loyalty, and love. She's been Evelyn’s companion through so many of life’s ups and downs, and now she needs our help to get through this.

Evelyn is one of the most hardworking and selfless people I know. She’s a devoted mom to her 2-year-old son, and works tirelessly six days a week both as a Personal Support Worker and in the veterinary field—giving her time and energy to help others, human and animal alike. Now it’s her turn to be supported.

With Harley's recovery requiring extensive care—including surgeries, medications, and follow-up visits—Evelyn may also need to take time off work to care for Harley while still managing life as a mom. The estimated cost of Harley's medical treatment is approximately 5 000 to 7 000$ and we are hoping to raise 8 000$ to help ease the financial burden and allow Evelyn to focus on healing and caregiving.
