Help Harley Get His Leg Back (TPLO Surgery)
Donation protected
This is Harley: he is the happiest, most active dog you will ever meet that loves hiking and his daily hour walks. However, on March 8th, 2021, he fully tore his ligament and can no longer live walk, sit, or even lie down without being in pain - in fact, the only way he can even get around is by using only three of his legs.
He needs surgery to get back to what he loves doing most, but that surgery is expensive and our family is not equipped to handle the financial strain in light of the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The surgery itself costs $1800.00 and, with anaesthesia, antibiotics, and other recovery resources, costs have been estimated to rise to upwards of $3700.00. The payments will come in waves, but, with his surgery date potentially coming up the week of March 15th, we do not have much time to gather the funds it will take to keep our favourite family member happy and healthy.
He is our serotonin, he is our best friend, our private confidante. Like many of your own pets, Harley has been our ray of sunshine throughout the stay-at-orders and lockdowns of this pandemic and he deserves to receive the same immense happiness and health that he gives us.
On behalf of the Zahajko family, we would be incredibly grateful for any small contribution you make to help get our little man back on his feet. Thank you.
