Help Harley Get Back to Walking and Playing with Her Humans
Donation protected
Our beautiful, energetic, cheese-obsessed, kid-loving, 8-year old dog Harley needs your help. Harley has experienced total degeneration in both of her ACL's. This is not a result of an injury, or anything she did; ACLs just sometimes break down in dogs like this over time. Harley is currently in lot of pain and has very limited mobility, but the good news is that two surgeries to place steel plates in each of her legs will allow her to recover total mobility and live a long, happy, and pain-free life. The bad news is that her surgeries will cost approximately $8,000 per leg, totaling more than $15,000, which is very heavy financial burden for us. Harley will have her first surgery at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialities on 29 May, followed by 12 weeks of recovery. She will have surgery on her second leg after that. Harley is like our first child, and a sibling to our 3 kids so we are determined to help her get back to her energetic self. Any financial help you can give is incredible. Thank you for considering helping us get her back to walking, running, and playing.
