Hi! My name is Harley, and I’ve just finally received my driver’s license. Times have been really tough with work and the holidays, and I’ve struggled to save for a car to help with assisting my family financially.

Not having a car makes it tough on not just me, but my mother as well. She has to go out of her way, taking time off of work, to take me to appointments and work. And taking an Uber is even more expensive. Public transport is an option, though it’s highly unreliable in my area. And with our rent increasing, as well as prices on things such as food, I cannot afford to call for transportation, nor can family members afford to take time off of work.

Getting a car would greatly impact not only my own life but the life of my family members as well. I would be able to support my mother more, as well as other family members. I’d be able to go to and from places and work easier, without having to rely on others.

Once I can obtain a car, I can either find a better paying job, or find a second job to help cover the rising expenses our family faces.
