If you're in the East Bay Punk scene or if you've ever walked around Oakland after a local show has gotten out, chances are you've met Harley. If you've been lucky enough to make her acquaintance, you know she's a force to be reckoned with. Her charisma, charm, and sense of humor can make even the most jaded among us smile She's a lovable black goth that makes pies for punk bands, has a voice gifted with the power to open up any fucking pit, and she's always down to lend a helping hand.

Despite her generosity, Harley has lived in poverty for the entirety of her adult life, and has had to rely on high interest credit cards to feed herself and pay the bills. Over time, Harley not only had to deal with the reality of crippling poverty and life in the financially unforgiving Bay Area, but also the burden of ever-escalating credit card debt.

To make matters worse, Wells Fargo, a multinational bank with billions of dollars in assets, decided to sue Harley for $20,000. As a result of this lawsuit, Harley has to file for bankruptcy. Turns out she can't do that until she can hire a lawyer to guide her through the process because as we all know, being poor is really fucking expensive.

So if you want to help one of the most genuinely awesome and radically kind people in the city of Oakland, please donate. She's one of my best friends and she deserves a fresh start Harley is a good person in a bad situation. The legal fees with everything included is roughly $2,000! This is fixable!
