Help Harlem Heal: Support Her Recovery
Donation protected
Hi everyone, meet Harlem! Baby girl was found in Central Park crawling up a hill to seek shade from the sun when a friend and I stopped to pick her up! She is completely emaciated and has no fat on her body at all. It's a miracle she has managed to find the energy to keep fighting to be found and I'm so glad she did. She is estimated to be 8-9 months old and isn't microchipped. We took her to the vet and to the shelter where both facilities turned her away. The shelter explained she may be put on the list to be euthanized. We couldn't let that happen!
We plan on taking her to the emergency hospital when she is a little stronger to see if they will be open to vaxxing her. As I am already a single doggy mommy I am asking for the community to donate whatever they can to help go towards Harley's food, bedding, registration, medical treatment, insurance and tags until she has found her forever home!
She is the sweetest girl and deserves all the good things life offers. I am so sad she was found in this condition but know we will be able to make things right for her! She has 4 doggy moms tending to her round the clock and a community of people rooting for her.
Thank you all for your love and support for our little girl!
