Help Harinam and Education take another step today in France

Hi, My name is Revatinandana dasa aka Remy Beghoura, I am a full time monk and member of ISKCON since 2017. I am mostly serving as a teacher, missionary preacher, and musical performer in the Harinama Sankirtana movement.

I want to raise funds to improve our French ISKCON temple programs, outreach projects, conferences, musical events or online courses. But for that I will need your help.

Indeed, to improve our kirtan and our educational programs, I need to acquire two things:

1. An accordeon to be more attractive for the French public in our in-door kirtan programs or outside in the streets. The cost is approx. 900 euros.

2. A powerful touch screen computer with digital pen to bring on systematic presentation of the philosophy during our conferences to the French public. The cost is approx. 800 euros.

If you have doubts about this initiative, let me explain to you why I need that:

1. Follow the trend

As a bhakti yoga teacher, I recognize the need to cope up with modern educational tools which are replacing more and more our traditional paper and ink.

Now, conferences are becoming more and more interactive, visual and dynamic, for the public to stay involved and for their attention to remain constant.

Technics like Powerpoint presentation, AI imagery and digital board are now popularly used in our ISKCON temples Bhagavatam class by S. B. Kesava maharaja or Caitanya Caran for example. It is commonly used in our ISKCON outreach programs and it works! More globally, it is in fact used in public schools, business company and in a multiple type of events as well nowadays.

If like me you have a great deal of having fun when a devotee uses these tools, and if you find it pretty convincing, especially for the youth, then there is no question of not using it.

2. Involve the people

Accordeon is now used in ISKCON widely by groups such as Harinam Ruci and during festivals such as our Ratha Yatras. Adding a powerfull and joyful tone to our kirtan, this instrument invduces significatively people to dance and chant with us. On another hand, accordeon is part of the French culture and as such it is appreciated naturally. Let us bring a new dimension to our daily harinama and kirtan events by integrating a greater diversity in our arsenal of spiritual weapons.
