Hello! We’re Sienna and Brianna, seniors at Hanover High School and proud members of our school’s DECA chapter. This year, we placed second at districts and became finalists at the state conference in the Marketing Management Team Decision Making category. We placed 5th overall, making us the first Hanover students ever to qualify for ICDC, the international DECA conference. It’s a huge milestone for our school and our town, especially since it’s only our second year of competition. We are both dedicated students who excel academically and have developed marketing skills through our DECA chapter that brought us to this opportunity.

Attending ICDC is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but the costs are much higher than we expected. The trip to Atlanta, GA, includes travel, registration, lodging, and most meals. The school district generously gave us some support, but the remaining costs are a significant financial burden for us and our families as we prepare for college. We are so grateful for any support, big or small, to help us represent Hanover on an international stage.
