Hi friends!

I’m Hannah and I have the unfortunate task of writing this on behalf of my parents. A few weeks ago my dad began to experiencing some forgetfulness. Nothing beyond what we expect from any man. However as time progressed it became obvious that something just wasn’t right. This began the doctor appointments.

In the initial appointments it was discovered that my dad was extremely dehydrated. Holding onto faith, we went into his MRI thinking that it was going to show nothing and whatever was wrong was a simple fix of rehydrating him and getting him well nourished. Sadly, the MRI showed a mass on his brain.

My parents were then sent from Butte to Billings ER (a 3.5 hour drive for them) to see the neurologist. The bad news kept coming. On Wednesday, March 26 my dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma. If you know anything about it you know how aggressive it is. My dad went from his normal self to where we are today in just a matter of weeks.

The steps forward are hard and sad. My parents are going to have to sell their businesses and their house to move my dad from Montana to Kansas City to get him in with even better care.

The prognosis isn’t good, but we know that God is still a God of miracles and he can cure this. That is our prayer. For the time being my parents need financial support. The medical bills, the moving costs, the gas… it all adds up. If you know my parents you know that they are generous, kind and compassionate. It is my hope we can come together for them and help them in this time of need.
