Help Hannah with her life changing surgery

Donation protected
Hannah is 23 years old and has been fighting multiple illnesses for the last three years. She was first diagnosed with gastroparesis (paralyzed stomach or delayed emptying). We found it was likely caused by pyloric stenosis (a sphincter closing at the base of her stomach, not allowing food to pass through. She fought SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth) for over a year during this time as well. She has received more than 35 surgeries, hospitalizations, and procedures to treat and correct these issues. We spent over a year trying to reach a diagnosis for other severe symptoms she was having. A few months ago, she was diagnosed with MALS (median arcuate ligament syndrome). A few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with colitis. Over the past two years, she has had multiple picc lines placed to pump nutrition straight into her bloodstream. None of these alone are "deadly"; however, their complications can very well be deadly and have nearly taken her from us twice in the last year. Her body is now in starvation mode, struggling to put on and keep on weight even with the picc line. She spends many days and nights pacing the house with a blanket and a puke bag. The pain she feels on a daily basis is beyond what I can describe, and she hides it behind her beautiful smile. Her medical insurance is no longer covering as much because she has been considered disabled. This means many insurance gaps for the first two years as her benefits slowly become available. Hannah is a light to this world and all the people who know her. she is the strongest person I know and would never ask a soul for help unless she had no other way.

This campaign has been created to assist Hannah with travel and medical expenses for open surgery for MALS. For her to get it, we must travel to Connecticut and stay there for nearly a month for her care. There is one Dr that performs this surgery to the extent she needs in the entire country. It's a chance at a less painful life; hopefully, she will be able to sustain life on her own after it and not rely on medical nutrition. It will significantly minimize her pain, and she can work towards building a healthy lifestyle and thriving again.

I would like to thank every one of you for donating and/or passing this campaign along for my girl. She deserves an abundant life. God bless you all!
