My name is Hannah, and I am currently studying architecture at the University of Tennessee: Knoxville. This upcoming 26-27 school year, I have the unique opportunity to participate in a required study abroad program that is essential for my degree. While I am excited about the chance to learn and grow in a new environment, I am facing a significant financial challenge. Due to personal circumstances that have made me solely responsible for funding my education, I will not be able to take part in this without incurring heavy student debt. Up to this point, I have been able to support myself, but the required study abroad program comes with a hefty price tag, and I simply do not have the means to support myself in this invaluable experience.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my tuition, program fees, housing, travel expenses, and all the costs associated with the study abroad program. This program is not only a requirement for my degree, but it is also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture and gain invaluable experience in my field. Through my university's program, there are multiple options for study abroad locations, and I am extremely hopeful to get to go to Tokyo, Japan in Fall 2026. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help me get one step closer to making this dream a reality.
