Help Hannah start her journey to Law School
Donation protected
Hello, my relatives.
I am writing today to ask for your assistance on my journey to law school! I have many plans in the near future, but the most important is to take LSAT courses so I can take my LSAT this summer (aiming for June) and apply to Mitchell-Hamline School of Law by December (I have yet to pick a backup) to attend in the Fall of 2023.
In 2020 the world changed in many ways – and I felt those effects as well. I was laid off and living in South MPLS – to me this is where and when the revolution began.
Many of you answered when I asked for donations for the communities here. Collectively, we raised more than $6,000 and donated blankets, groceries, clothing, household necessities and more. We also held two neighborhood cookouts where residents could come and eat for free and gather supplies.
The same summer, Johnny and I stayed up for countless nights watching and protecting the people and places that meant the most to us. These are memories I will never forget. I knew then I could never go back to life as I knew it before. I knew I had to go to law school so I could continue to advocate and protect my communities.
Here are the costs:
LSAT Kaplan class: $1499
Law School Admissions Council (LSAC): registration fee $200
LSAC Credential Assembly Service (CAS): $195 + $45(up to $90) (application fee(x2))
Additional fees(taxes, gofundme fees, unforeseen expenses, travel): $425
TOTAL: $2500
Any assistance is truly appreciated. Thank you all for loving me and believing in me. I promise to live up to the expectations.
