Hi, my name is Hannah Moore, and I am a member of an American folk ensemble specializing in traditional clogging. This August, our group has the incredible opportunity to travel to Portugal and the Basque Country to perform, share our culture, and connect with communities through dance.

Clogging is more than just a dance style to me — it’s a way to preserve tradition, build discipline, and bring people together. Being part of this ensemble has shaped who I am, teaching me teamwork, resilience, and the importance of honoring American folk heritage.

On this international tour, we will represent the United States by performing traditional American folk dances, participating in cultural exchanges, and learning from other artists around the world. It’s an honor to share our traditions abroad while also experiencing the rich history and culture of Portugal and the Basque region.

Traveling internationally with a performance group comes with significant expenses, including flights, lodging, costumes, and program fees. I am raising funds to help cover these costs so I can take part in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
