Help Hannah Rebuild and Thrive

Donation protected
Let’s help Hannah get stability again for her 36th bday after circumstances out of her control.

In short, Hannah’s been through a series of immense challenges in a short period of time — just one of which would be crushing for most people.

Having to abruptly move across the country to escape a toxic ex, misfortune with 2 jobs, having to resort to credit cards and living with friends in order to get back on her feet, and dealing with the deep depression from having her home pulled out from underneath her — it all has been a whirlwind that’s taken its toll.

I know she would appreciate her friends coming together to give her a leg up. Let’s turn her year around!

The story:

Hannah moved to Minnesota from Colorado at the end of 2022 under the understanding that she would be supported by a partner who intended on sharing their life paths together.

Unfortunately, her partner did not get the help he needed as an Air Force vet with PTSD and lied and betrayed Hannah deeply, leaving her in mental, emotional, and financial distress, and with a new car he had encouraged her to buy under the agreement he was supporting her financially in their new life together.

Hannah had no choice but to leave Minnesota immediately as she came to understand her partner was not safe to be around. He promised to send her money to help her move but then dismissed her and blocked her number as she was having to move by herself at the end of winter in Minnesota, all while having to work remotely for an international company during the height of busy season.

Hannah spent time with family in Texas for a month and went through deep depression and turmoil before going back to Colorado, as it was not safe to drive at the end of winter back to Colorado immediately.

Hannah arrived in Colorado to stay with me for several months while she found a new home to live, already having to use her low-limit credit cards to survive.

After arriving in Colorado, Hannah was hit with the threat of being laid off due to financial cutbacks at her company, so she found another position where she would be making twice as much money.

A week after being hired at the new job, they immediately laid her off due to a broken contract with a retailer where she was going to be capturing leads for the sales team.

She tried to get her old job back, but they had already replaced her with a worker from South America they could pay half of her salary.

At this point, Hannah had already signed a lease on a 1-bedroom condo, and we all know that Colorado is not inexpensive.

Hannah had to scramble to find work and now has a job at a breakfast restaurant in Boulder. It’s helping her get by as she rebuilds her life and follows her passions and dreams, but right now HANNAH NEEDS OUR HELP.

Hannah has done a GREAT JOB dealing with the VERY challenging hand life has dealt her, but she needs our help.

We are asking for $7K:

5K for basic needs, rent, car payments, food, and a car repair
2K for credit card debt

Thank you so much for your consideration. We love Hannah!
