Help Hannah Nibler Rebuild: A Midwife Who Lost Everything in a Fire

If you know my sister, Hannah, you have likely been blessed by her kindness at some point in your life. She is one of those rare, beautiful souls who gives endlessly to others, always putting their needs before her own.

As a dedicated midwife, Hannah has spent the last decade building her knowledge, skills, and community—bringing new life into the world and providing care and comfort to families in their most vulnerable moments. She is fiercely self-reliant and resourceful, changing her own oil, chopping wood, hunting and growing her own food, preserving it for the seasons ahead... the list goes on.

But now, she needs our help.

Yesterday, in the wee hours of the morning, Hannah’s home tragically and swiftly burned to the ground. By the grace of God, she was staying at a friend’s house that night, and her life was very likely spared—but she lost everything. Among her countless losses was her midwifery equipment, the tools she has spent years acquiring to serve her community better. The following list is not all-inclusive of her loss, but gives a glimpse into how you would help to rebuild:
