While on their first family vacation, my twin sister, Hannah, was severely beaten by her husband in the presence of their one-year-old, Luvena.

The beating my sister received was an absolute nightmare. This man beat on her for over two hours. She was drifting in and out of consciousness begging for him to stop and for her life. Once she fully became conscious and she tried to leave, he threw her suitcase off the 19th floor balcony of the hotel they were staying at.

As of right now, Hannah has a broken nose, broken lower eye socket, fractured cheek bone, severe back pain, bruising all over her body, and a severe concussion. With possible other injuries surfacing as she continues to go to doctor appointments this week.

The money raised will go toward Hannah’s medical bills, including surgeries for the broken eye socket and broken nose, counseling, and continued doctor's visits. It will also help with re-housing my sister to a safe environment including the deposit and first month’s rent while she recovers.
