Help Hannah Get Through Treatment

Hi! It’s me Hannah:)

I never thought I’d be in the position but here we are. It’s hard for me to ask for help like this but times are tough right now until I can get more stable. I unexpectedly developed a medical condition overnight that really changed my life and literally swept me off my feet. I am not able to go to work and because of the whole year or more of covid leading up to right now there hasn’t been much recovery financially especially as a small business owner. 

I have a condition called POTS/DYSAUTOMIA . It’s triggered by trauma, viral infection, surgery etc. I don’t know yet what caused mine I may never know. My heart rate, blood pressure, brain, breathing, ability to work, walk or do daily functions has completely changed. I’ve been hospitalized twice one being a 5 night stay with receiving 13 iv bags of fluids. I have also been to the ER a few times in between and have developed pretty bad tremor episodes that are scary I’ve lost 15 lbs in one month and have repeated adrenaline surges that exhaust my body and have been on a heart monitor for most of October. I feel like I’m dying every single day and it has been torture. Unfortunately with this diagnosis there are not a lot of specialists available especially not here in MI. I will be traveling out of state and lots of help I need is not covered by insurance plus the travel costs. Any funds raised will be 100% for treatment and the path to recovery. I want to try to fight this as hard as I can and recover. Id like to be able to go shopping again, do craft shows, go for walks, enjoy my family and do life again. 

I will be getting a brain mri, brain eeg, and tilt table test in the next two weeks. I have been also doing some neuro feedback training. It will be a long recovery and there are still many tests I need that the funds are needed for and out of state travel to Ohio to see a dysautomia specialist and because I can’t work and need my husband for all of this makes things difficult especially after recovering from a pandemic as we all have felt. Any help is appreciated and will be used for this purpose only. This condition can happen to anyone and it happened to me overnight. My whole world flipped upside down. I truly have a whole different outlook on life because it very well can be taken away from you overnight. So that’s why I’m here creating trying to raise funds and I’ll of course share any progress along the way because we are hopeful for progress.
