My cousin, Hannah, is one of the most giving and selfless people I know. She’s the kind of person who always shows up for others — now it’s our turn to show up for her.

After more than 20 years of misdiagnoses, Hannah has finally discovered with the help of her Doctors and Naturopaths the true cause of her declining health: late-stage Lyme disease. Unfortunately, because the infection went untreated for so long, it has now crossed the blood-brain barrier, severely affecting her nervous system. Without immediate treatment, her condition could continue to progress into devastating diseases such as ALS, MS, or Parkinson’s. Did I mention that my cousin is only in her 30's?

There is hope, I feel — but time is of the essence. Hannah has been accepted for a specialized Lyme treatment program in Germany this coming January, which has shown incredible success for patients in similar situations. The total cost of treatment, travel, and related care is $75,000 — a goal that feels daunting, but one that we can reach together with the help of family, friends, and compassionate strangers.

Hannah has spent her life giving to others; including caring for her own Mother in her late years of life to which Hannah put her own health aside to help, and now she needs our help to give her life back.
