Help Hannah Britt beat Leukemia!!

Many of you know my youngest niece, Hannah Britt. But, let me tell you about how amazing she is for those who do not. Hannah has a smile that can light up any room, a contagious laugh, and is just as sassy as her mom! She is the most loving, kind-hearted, and compassionate young lady you will ever meet. Ever since I could remember, she has had a passion for growing out her hair to donate it to an organization that makes wigs for children battling cancer.

I have organized this fundraiser to raise money for Hannah and her mom (Beth) and her father (Randy). Donations will help with the financial burden and medical care she will need as she embarks on her battle against cancer just before her 10th birthday in a couple of weeks.

This past Sunday, July 24th, Hannah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This was sudden news and a scary time for Hannah and her family. Yet, despite all that, she has continued to smile, tell jokes, and negotiate with her mom.

She just started her two year treatment plan at Children Mott Hospital in Ann Arbor, far from her home in Caseville.

Hannah had a big day yesterday scheduled full of testing and the start of her chemotherapy. However, before the testing could start, my sister made a deal with her that she would pay her $5 for each remaining picc. Little did Beth know what she thought would be a $10 deal turned into $35 before her day was complete. And Hannah has every intention of holding her to it!

I share this with you as an indication of how uncertain each day will be on this journey. Any donation amount is appreciated to help them with anything they need along this long road ahead.
