My sister Hannah was admitted to the hospital Monday, December 16th with a brain bleed and it was later discovered that she also has an AVM that will need to be removed. The brain bleed has cause damage to the part of her brain that controls eye sight so she has lost vision on her right side. The swelling from the bleed has also caused issues with her memory and speech. Her recovery will be long and difficult. The surgery to remove the AVM cannot be done until the 16th of January and she will be off work for a month or so after. She has a 3 year old little boy and her and her husband work as much as they can so a loss of income is not something they can withstand for an extended period of time. Her husband's work will give him the time off to support her recovery but not with pay. Please consider helping this family so that they can focus on her healing.
