Help Hannah and Family Through Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
My beautiful wife and amazing mother to my 3 year old son has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical cancer. The cancer has spread to her lymph nodes which means she will have to undergo extensive radiation and chemotherapy. Today, August 23rd, 2024, was her consultation appointment with the Radiation Oncologist at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville VA. The University of Virginia is where her treatment will take place and she will undergo radiation and chemo 5 days a week. We will be relocating there temporarily for the next 4 to 7 months for her treatment.
The University of Virginia is about 300 miles from where we reside in Bristol, VA with our 3-year-old son, Blaze. We have decided that the treatment Hannah would receive there is without a doubt our best option to beat this. We moved to Bristol, VA just over two years ago from Los Angeles to give our precious son Blaze a more wholesome and slow-paced upbringing. Never in our wildest dreams would we have thought that our young family would have to go through this horrible nightmare.
We are blessed to have Medicaid which pretty much covers the majority of medical expenses. What it doesn't cover is our other daily life expenses and bills that unfortunately don't go away. I'm going to be a full-time caretaker to my wife and 3 year old son during her cancer treatment. Therefore I won't be able to work unless I find something I can do from wherever we will be staying in Charlottesville, Virginia for the coming months. This is all happening so fast and there is so much planning to do. We are beyond grateful for anything you can do to help our family during this tough time. Thank you and God bless.
