Help Hanna Receive Gender-Affirming Care

Hanna Colm (they/them), who is an avid reader, loving dog parent, talented photographer and hiker, needs community support to receive urgently needed gender affirming care: top surgery.

Hanna has been waiting for years to get this care. This procedure will have a huge positive impact on Hanna's day-to-day life by relieving the constant anguish of dysphoria. The need is extremely urgent for their mental health, especially now with the impending transphobic MAGA government taking power next year. And they finally had a consultation and have a surgery date scheduled for August 2025!

But, while this news of a possible surgery, after waiting so long, is ecstatic, we still face financial barriers to accessing this care. Out of pocket costs for the surgery and recovery will be significant and we don't have a lot of time to save for them. So we are asking for help raising $3,000 that, when combined with personal savings and insurance, will help cover the cost of their surgery and recovery.
