After seeing our oldest daughter cry over the loss of two of our family dogs, something told me to check the local shelter site. Maybe it was the grief or our other dogs giving me a wink. I couldn't shake the feeling, so I looked. There was a small black Shep mix. She had been brought in as a stray, with green paint on her. I told myself if she was still there in a couple of days, maybe I should go meet her. She was still there. I drove to meet her. After a meet and greet, I adopted her. Our whole family is already in love with her. She started acting off after being home for a day. Unfortunately, Hanna Pearl Pate has tested positive for Parvo. It doesn't seem like the SPCA will be able to help us with the vet care at all and we really don't want to lose our new girl. We have her staying at the Access Animal Emergency on 190th, in the city of Torrance. Every share and donation helps. It is $8500 to keep her 3 days, bloodwork, fluids, and injections to help fight the Parvo
