Help Hanna and Her Kids After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Hanna Whitehouse, and I am 23 years old. On the morning of Saturday, July 27th, my life took an unexpected turn. After finishing my shift at work, I picked up my one-year-old daughter, Ensleigh’Ann, and we were heading home when a tragic accident occurred. A driver without license or insurance ran a red light, colliding with our car.
Thankfully, my daughter suffered only minor injuries, but I wasn’t as fortunate. The accident left me with a concussion, memory loss, a broken nose and lip, and a severely injured right leg. My fibula and tibia—the two main bones in the leg—were shattered and protruded through the skin, requiring a complex surgery. What was expected to be a four-hour procedure extended to nine hours, as doctors meticulously worked to repair my leg, ultimately inserting a rod from my knee to my ankle to stabilize it.
The doctors have informed me that it will be approximately six months before I can walk again. In a moment, I lost my ability to work, my car, and even my beloved dog who was also in the car with us during the accident. Most heartbreakingly, I lost the ability to provide for my two young children while I recover from my injuries. Ensleigh’Ann and I need support during this challenging time to meet our basic needs. Diapers, wipes, formula, and groceries are daily necessities that I currently struggle to afford.
I am reaching out for help, hoping that you might support us as we navigate this difficult period. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference and brings us closer to recovery. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in advance.
