Let's help Hank not go broke as he recovers from a stroke!

Early in 2022, Hank Musgrove survived a stroke due to an internal carotid artery dissection. The past several months have been spent recovering through numerous doctors’ visits, occupational, physical, and speech therapy. Hank has also been experiencing seizures which make it unsafe to be alone for long periods of time. Fortunately, his wonderful partner, Valarie, has been by his side helping him, but as you can imagine, there is a tremendous amount of emotional and financial burden brought on by this unexpected, horrific ordeal.

Everyone who has been lucky enough to have Hank in their life can confirm that he is an amazingly fun, kind, inquisitive, ridiculous, nerdy, hilarious, wonderful weirdo. The Las Vegas legend that he is, I met Hank over twenty years ago going to sketchy punk shows when we were all just dirty desert kids. Hank is an enthusiastic storyteller, genuinely curious listener, and one of my oldest, closest, dearest friends.

I am asking for help on behalf of Hank and Valarie so that they can focus on his recovery. Hank has been unable to work due to his condition, and there are long delays with medical/financial assistance. Everything from this campaign will go directly to them to help with medical bills and living expenses.
