Help Hank Rebuild After Devastating Losses

Donation protected
My lifelong friend, Hank, is in dire straits in Jacksonville, FL and I feel compelled to try to help in some small way.

Hank has spent her life serving others — from volunteering with the Red Cross as a child to supporting veterans, raising money for cancer research, and advocating for domestic violence survivors. Hank is a knowledgeable CPA, but now she needs our help.

After two years of caring full-time for her mother with dementia — a mentally, physically, and financially exhausting responsibility — Hank moved out. The home she rented made her sick due to toxic cat urine left untreated by the landlord. Her health declined, clients were lost, and her savings depleted over those three years.

Things got worse. During a wrongful eviction process, movers hired by the landlord stole nearly everything she owned — tools, electronics, appliances, even her medication and essentials. The destruction was brutal and violating. She’s now without a stable home, with limited resources, and facing the challenge of rebuilding from scratch.

Despite everything, Hank remains hopeful. Lawsuits may eventually bring justice, but she urgently needs help now — for housing, insurances, other essentials, and to keep her and her beloved dog, Satchmo, off the street.

If you can donate or know of a safe rental where checks can be waived, please reach out. Let’s show Hank the kindness she’s spent a lifetime giving to others.
