My name is Megan, and I am Hank Muntzer’s niece. I am creating this fundraiser to help my uncle recover after he lost his home in a devastating hailstorm on July 15.

In less than an hour, an unimaginable hailstorm buried his home under feet of hail, causing catastrophic damage and destroying nearly everything inside. His home is no longer livable, and he has lost almost everything he owned. He is now faced with the heartbreaking reality of starting over from nothing.

Hank is a humble, kindhearted, and hardworking man who has always lived a simple life. He is someone who loves his family, values the life he built, and never asks for anything from anyone. Seeing him go through a loss of this magnitude is truly heartbreaking.

Because Hank lives off the grid in the mountains, homeowners insurance was not an option, leaving him to rebuild entirely on his own.
