My name is Hank Evans and I am a first-year at Stetson University. I am studying classical voice and hope to pursue a career in Opera. This GoFundMe is to allow me to perform in Germany over the summer.

I have recently received an opportunity to perform the role of Figaro in "Le Nozze di Figaro" (The Marriage of Figaro) by Mozart. This is a very high honor, as I had to compete for this spot with master's students, and I managed to get a lead role. I would be performing with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar and training with them for around a month in Germany. I will be taking German language instruction, masterclasses, group and individual coaching, and acting instruction. While I have managed to get merit scholarships, I am going to need money for the rest of the tuition, a flight to Germany, and hopefully a few crumbs of food while I am there. The $2,000 I am requesting is the remainder of what I cannot get a grant for and cannot pay out of my own pocket.
