This is Hank, our sweet, timid 11-month-old kitten who has brought nothing but love and comfort into our lives. Hank is facing a life-threatening medical emergency: he has a bowel blockage that has torn part of his intestine. He needs urgent surgery to remove the damaged section of his bowel and repair it in order to survive.

The surgery alone is estimated to cost $10,000, not including the ongoing vet visits, medication, and post-op care. As a family, we’re doing everything we can to support him, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

Hank is a gentle soul. He’s shy but endlessly affectionate, always curling up next to us or quietly keeping us company. He’s still just a baby, and he deserves the chance to live a long, healthy life.
