Help Hank get his Freedom Wheelchair

Donation protected

My name is Anita and I'm fundraising for my nephew Hank Brown who is in need of an upgraded wheelchair. Hank was the victim of a violent shooting in 2016 that left him paralyzed from the chest down at only 18 years old. In 2017 Hanks mother passed away and he has been on his own.

Hank is working hard towards total independence but he needs assistance to get there. He received a partial grant for a Grit Freedom Chair but he is still $3000 short. The freedom chair is a rough terrain chair that would enable him to become more independent, more active, and happier in general. It is also a necessity in the winter as he lives in Spokane and his current wheelchair is not equipped to handle the heavy snow that accumulates each year.

Despite Hanks limitations, he has stayed positive. He has shown incredible grit and perseverance and we are very proud of his hard work and progress! He is currently in school for Welding fabrication and fluid power. He even made honor roll last quarter! Hank is doing his best to improve his situation but has limited income and needs help. Hank is always challenging himself and we want to see him succeed. A donation in any amount would be so very appreciated as this chair would be life changing for him. Thank you.
