Help Hania Fight Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Monika Wozniak, and I am asking for your support in the treatment of my beloved niece, Hania Barczak. Hania is 18 years old and since February has been fighting Ewing’s sarcoma – a malignant bone cancer that attacked her left thigh.

The diagnosis came suddenly and changed everything. Since March, Hania has been undergoing intensive treatment – multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and long hospital stays. In September, she underwent major surgery during which doctors managed to save her leg by implanting a femur and hip endoprosthesis. The post-surgery results gave us hope – no active cancer cells were found. We all breathed a sigh of relief.

Sadly, shortly after returning home, the disease struck again. PET scans revealed metastases in her lungs, liver, and other organs. That news hit us like a thunderbolt. Hania was immediately transferred to a hospital in Warsaw, where she began a new treatment and was enrolled in a clinical trial involving immunotherapy – a therapy that gives her a chance to keep fighting.
The doctors are doing everything they can to give her another chance. Hania continues to fight with incredible strength and determination, despite unimaginable pain. The therapy that offers her hope for life is extremely difficult and exhausting – both for her and for her loved ones, who now focus entirely on caring for and supporting her every day. Her mother stays by her side in the hospital every day. Her father works away from home to provide for the family. At home, her younger brothers, who miss her deeply, are looked after by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Our whole family lives around Hania’s treatment – every day is a fight for her health and for hope. That’s why every form of help – financial or practical – matters so much right now. We all dream of the same thing: that Hania will recover and come home, because that would mean a return to normal life for all of us.

Unfortunately, the costs of treatment, especially the immunotherapy, are overwhelming. The “last chance” medication costs as much as 135,000 PLN every two weeks (around £27,000), and the full course of therapy exceeds 1.2 million PLN (around £ 240,000)
The funds collected so far have helped us get through the hardest months, but there is still a long road ahead – full of new stages of treatment and challenges.
That’s why I’ve decided to become more actively involved in helping my niece and to ask everyone who can to support us. Every donation, every share, every kind word brings us closer to our goal – Hania’s recovery and return to a normal life.
As her mother says, "Hania needs your support and presence – you give us strength and faith that we can make it through. Right now, what matters most is helping her regain the will to fight and the joy that once lit up everyone around her.
This time, we must stay one step ahead of our enemy. Even though we feel broken at times, we will do everything we can to reach our goal – Hania’s health and life.
Please, help us. Every donation matters.
Let’s give Hania the chance to return to the life she loves so much!"

We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. Please help us give Hania a chance — to keep fighting, to recover, to live the life she deserves.
Every donation, every share, every kind word makes a difference.
From the bottom of our hearts – thank you for standing with us in this fight.
