Help Handyman Ramon in ICU from Massive Stroke
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Laura, and I am fundraising for our maintenance man Ramon Barajas, who services 310, 314, and 320 S Prospect Ave and 1111 Opal St in Redondo Beach.
It is with heavy heart that I report that Ramon has suffered from a massive stroke and is currently in critical condition in the ICU. His family will definitely hit their out-of-pocket maximum on their insurance and will need financial help to cover the uninsured portions of specialty care he will require during his recovery, as well as help with the bills while he is disabled and only receiving partial income through disability. The goal is to raise at least $25,000, so please be sure to forward this link to any friends, neighbors, or family you know who might be looking for a way to give back to the community and help a neighbor in dire need as we start the New Year.
We all know Ramon to be a wonderful person who is always ready to help with a smile. He is a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, and any amount of support that you can contribute during this most difficult of times would be greatly appreciated by Ramon and his family. He is currently at Kaiser Downey, and his family are trying to get him transferred to UCLA.
Please keep Ramon in your prayers for a complete and speedy recovery, as well as praying for his family, that God gives them strength, peace, and guidance as they navigate these troubled waters.
Thank you for any contribution you can give!!! Every little bit counts. Seriously: $1, $5, $10, $15, $20, $25, $40, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200, $250, $300, $400, $500, $750, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000.....you get the picture. :-) If we all come together as a community to help a dedicated worker in our community, we can prove how supporting each other helps us all connect and stay on solid ground. Ramon never stopped helping us all during the COVID shut-downs, and any show of appreciation you can give by sending financial help and/or words of encouragement on the website are all welcome and appreciated. Of course not all are in a position to help financially, and we understand and thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts. No pressure! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY.
Psalm 22:5
"Every time they cried out to you in their despair,
You were faithful to deliver them;
You didn't disappoint them"
Isaiah 41:10
"Don't worry, because I am with you,
Don't be afraid, because I am your God.
I will make you strong and will help you;
I will support you with my right hand that saves you."
