Hi everyone,

My name is Nicole Cedillo, and I am from Los Angeles. I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my best friend Hana and her family, whose home was tragically destroyed in the recent Eaton Fire in Los Angeles. I’ve known Hana and her family since I was 20 years old. Her family has always been a shining example of kindness, generosity, and hard work.

When the fire swept through their neighborhood, Hana’s family had no chance to save their belongings. Visiting the aftermath, they found their home completely burned down, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Hana’s parents are remarkable people. Her mom, a dedicated nurse, recently retired after years of tireless service, and her dad is a first-generation college graduate from UC Berkeley, who both have worked hard to provide for their family. They put countless years of effort into building their home while also providing loving care for Hana’s 100-year-old grandmother. Their home wasn’t just a house to them or to me, but it was a warm and loving space that welcomed others with open arms—whether it was inviting you to share a meal or offering a safe place to stay for the night.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to this incredible family during their time of need. All funds raised will go directly to help support them recover and get through this challenging time.
