Hello, my name is Yuki Matsui, and I am reaching out for help for my 9-year-old daughter, Hana.

Hana is an exceptionally bright and kind-hearted girl who loved school, reading, and learning. She was part of the Gifted Class, was recognized as Student of the Month every year, and consistently achieved A+ Honor Roll.

But in November 2024, everything changed. She was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA), a life-threatening condition where her body cannot produce enough blood cells. In just a few months, she went from being a top student to being unable to attend school or see her friends.

Frequent blood transfusions have kept her alive, but they have also caused severe iron overload, which is damaging her vital organs.

She may also require a bone marrow transplant, but finding a match is extremely difficult—especially for Japanese patients in the U.S., where Asian donors are severely underrepresented.
