Hello, I am Samah Hammo, writing to you from Gaza. I am speaking to you from the midst of the fires of war, in the midst of darkness and bombing.

Since the beginning of October, we have been suffering from difficult conditions. Life in Gaza has become terrifying. Our house was completely destroyed, and my family and I have been forcibly displaced several times from northern to southern Gaza. We have become homeless and are now living in tents under bombardment, facing death, disease, power outages, a lack of potable water and food, and a shortage of medicines. This is an unfit place for human habitation.

My mother is elderly and suffering from several diseases, and the place where I used to work was bombed. I no longer have a place to live or a source of income to support myself and my family. We appeal to you for help. Life in Gaza has become unbearable. Help save me and my family so we can live in safety and peace. We need all the support we can get to save us in Gaza.
