Hamilton Jude came into our lives after surviving severe abuse from his former owners. We adopted him from The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County in Ohio, and from the very first day, he has shown nothing but love, kindness, and an incredible spirit. Despite everything he’s been through, Hamilton Jude found a way to trust people and other animals again, becoming a true member of our family. His strength and courage continue to amaze us every day.

Recently, Hamilton Jude became suddenly paralyzed in his back legs after suffering a spinal stroke. At first, we were told there was little hope for him to walk again, but after an MRI and neurological assessments, we learned that recovery is possible. Every day, my husband and I lift him with a special sling and help him walk using his front paws, guiding and supporting him as he works to regain strength. We are hopeful that with continued exercises and therapy, Hamilton Jude will keep progressing.

This journey is a long-term process, and the therapies and treatments Hamilton Jude needs are very expensive. We are currently pursuing hydrotherapy and ongoing therapy at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio, as well as treatments from their neurology department. He is also receiving red light therapy and starting a TENS unit response machine to support his recovery. We want Hamilton Jude to have the best chance at a full recovery, and your support will make a real difference in his life. Any help is deeply appreciated.
