Hello and thank you for reading my story. My name is Hamada, and I am a father from Gaza. I am originally from the area of East Khan Yunis and now am displaced in West Khan Yunis with my family:
Suwar, 11 years old
Hour, 5 years old
Salam, 3 years old
Samir, 10 months old
My wife, Heba, 31 years old
I was injured when I tried to retrieve a bag of flour for my family and the army bombed where I was. Shrapnel entered my body near my heart and lungs. I need surgery to remove the shrapnel, but medical care is very expensive.
I am the sole provider for my family, but there is no work, and my injury prevents me from seeking aid. Everything costs money from tents, to clean water for drinking, to electricity to charge our devices. The situation is incredibly difficult. We are tired, hungry, and just want peace and the chance for a better life.
I am humbly asking for any support you can provide. Every donation no matter the size makes a big difference in our lives. Thank you,
Hamada Al-najar
