Hello! I’m Emmett! I’m a straight-A student in my junior year of high school. Recently my cat Ham was diagnosed with FIP, a mutation of coronavirus that is 100% fatal when left untreated. But this treatment costs $2,000, an amount I can not earn fast enough working my part-time job of two years at a retirement home.

Additionally, I have already depleted what money I did have in my emergency vet fund trying to find the source of Ham’s lack of appetite (a thing most unusual for Ham, who got his name for being as fat as a Ham), lethargic behavior, and overall lack of interest in everything that had previously brought him joy. There is nothing left for me to spend. Without help fundraising for Ham’s treatment, I will be forced to euthanize my baby. Usually, I am not one to reach out for any form of financial help, but this is a matter of life or death.
