Help Halleluyah Assembly Secure a Permanent Church Home in Birmingham
For the past eight years, Halleluyah Assembly has been serving the community in Quinton, Birmingham, bringing together people from many nations to worship, grow in faith, and support one another. What began as a small gathering has grown into a vibrant and multicultural church family where people find encouragement, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
Throughout these years, we have worshipped wherever space was available. Currently, we meet in a school hall where every Sunday our dedicated volunteers arrive early to set up chairs, sound equipment, and other essentials, and stay behind afterwards to pack everything away. There have also been times when we were unable to meet physically because the venue was closed due to holidays, weather conditions, or other restrictions.
Despite these challenges, our church family has continued to grow. Today, around 150 worshippers gather weekly, including children, teenagers, young adults, and families who depend on the church not only for spiritual growth but also for encouragement, guidance, and a sense of belonging.
Our vision has always been clear: to shape lives, influence destinies, raise responsible leaders, and serve our community with compassion. We seek to support people spiritually, emotionally, and practically while creating a welcoming environment where individuals and families can find hope and purpose.
Recently, an incredible opportunity opened before us to purchase a historic church building in Birmingham—an iconic structure with great character and enormous potential to serve as a place of worship and a centre for community support. The moment we saw it, we knew it could become a lasting home for our church and a place that would serve the community for generations to come.
By God’s grace and through the generosity of our church family and supporters, we have already been able to raise a substantial portion of the required deposit. However, we are now in need of £100,000 to complete the amount required to secure the building and move forward with this vision.
A permanent church home will allow us to expand the work we are already doing in the community. It will provide a stable place where we can worship freely and consistently, run programmes for children, teenagers, and young adults, offer counselling and pastoral support, host community meals and outreach programmes, and create a safe and welcoming environment for families and individuals in need of encouragement or practical support.
More than just a building, this space will become a community hub where lives are nurtured, hope is restored, and people from all backgrounds can come together.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to securing this building and establishing a permanent home for Halleluyah Assembly and the wider community we serve. If you are unable to give financially at this time, we would deeply appreciate your prayers and support by sharing this campaign with others who may be willing to help.
Together, we believe we can build a place where lives will continue to be shaped, destinies influenced, and hope shared for generations to come.
Thank you for standing with us and being part of this journey.
