Hi, my name is Kelly Davis and I could not be more proud of Haley Trotter. This year Haley was blessed when as a Freshman she made the Chelsea High School Varsity Girls Team. This team went on to the sweet sixteen, where Haley was awarded a spot on the Northeast Regional Basketball All-Tournament Class 6A team.

When the season ended, Haley was invited to play for Southern Starz Basketball. Southern Starz is a non-profit organization that was formed in 2000 for the purpose of providing young ladies an opportunity to compete in girls' basketball at a high level and gain from the Life Experience afforded by athletic competition. The goal is for the players to gain experience and exposure, which will provide them the opportunity for success in their high school basketball careers and the possibility for an athletic scholarship at the collegiate level.

I would appreciate your consideration of sponsoring Haley Trotter, daughter of Coach Lori Weber of the Homewood Day School, to compete in various events in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois and Virginia, including playing in front of College Coaches! These tournaments' costs include travel expenses, hotel expenses, meals and admission passes.

As you can imagine, these costs are high and not a part of Lori's budgeted expenses. Lori is the first to help out a child and now it's our turn to help her daughter. Any amount you can contribute to help defray these costs will be greatly appreciated.
